Booking terms and conditions

Prices

All prices in Euro, per room and night.

Internet use, tourist uterus are included in the room rate..

The breakfast buffet is included in the price. A price reduction for breakfast not taken is excluded.

All prices are including Dutch BTW (VAT)

During the week we charge a supplement of Euro 5,00 per person for a stay of 1 night.

On weekends a minimum stay of 2 nights is obligatory, but on some weekends 3 or 4 nights are possible.
(e.g. weeks with bridge days).

Children up to 2 years in their parents' bed stay free of charge.

Children up to 4 years in their own bed pay a one-time fee of Euro 20,00.

Minors can only stay in the company of a parent or guardian.

 

Booking

On weekends (Friday and Saturday) we rent rooms for a minimum stay of 2 nights.

For each booking we need:
- the postal address of the travelling guest
- the telephone number of the travelling guest.

A booking contract is only concluded by the written booking confirmation of the "Deutsches Seemannsheim". Verbal agreements are not valid!

When booking, an advance payment is to be made. This is usually the price of one night's accommodation (for longer stays this amount may be higher). We will inform you of this in our offer emails).

 

Arrival and departure

We do not usually offer arrival or departure on Saturdays.

On the day of arrival the rooms are available from 15:00.

On the day of departure, the rooms are available until 11:00 am. You are welcome to leave your luggage with us.

 

Cancellation - No-Show-Up

Rooms can be cancelled up to 5 days before the start of the arrival day, but:

There will be no refund of the deposit amount for cancellations made after the deposit date stated by us.

In case of cancellation within 5 days of the start of the arrival day, 70% of the remaining tour price must be paid.
(the remaining travel price is the total travel price minus any advance payment made).

 

Excluded: Groups with occupancy contracts and special offers.

In the event of cancellation on the day of arrival or in the event of no-show-up, the entire invoice amount is due.

 

Payment

We offer these options:
- Cash payment
- Bank transfer (payment in our account 1 day before departure)
- We prefer Maestro or VPay cards - MasterCard and (if no other choice) Visa cards are also accepted

 

General

Smoking is not allowed in any of our rooms.

Triggered fire alarms will be charged with Euro 70,00 per alarm.

We charge Euro 50,00 for a basic cleaning of the room in case of heavy soiling.

Unfortunately it is not possible to stay with pets.
